Hi, my name is Ethan Smith, and I’m just another college student with a desire to manually install a WordPress blog on a rented domain name and keep that blog updated with periodic posts about my life.

So yes, I chose ethandsmith.com because it’s my name including my middle initial, and it’s also my Twitter name. I haven’t had a working WordPress blog in quite a while. The last one was at ethansmithweb.com, which now redirects here, may it rest in peace.

Basically, I’m a sophomore in college majoring in chemical engineering, and I’m loving life. I decided to start this blog just so I’d have a place to gather my thoughts and post them after a long day, or to post things anytime I find something to comment on in my escapades through the interwebs (which probably happens too often). But anyhow, I hope that you’ll find the content of this blog enjoyable, and please feel free to let me know if you’d like my opinion on anything, or you have suggestions for this blog.
